-- The large-scale microwave chains (mainly longitudinal) show that several active regions (ARs 8307, 8314, 8315, 8316 and perhaps also AR 8309) are united in a single complex in the north hemisphere..

-- Strong changes of the longitudinal microwave chains occurred after a large LDE and proton event of August 24, 1998 (~22 UT) (see the movie presented below).
