There is a minute coincidence of the large-scale EUV chains on these images received with two different space observatories SOHO (a) and TRACE (b). In particular, on both the images one can see a long serpentine chain 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, a double diagonal chain 11-3-12-13 with two branches 12-14 and 12-15, two more diagonal crossing chains 5-9-10 and 6-12, and some others.
